Graffoto Shoot.....

Reclaimed by creation, urban backdrop deep in the mountains,
nestled in a valley...

Urban pixies in motion, summer 2010 photo shoot.

Serendipitously, we found these words of wisdom written
on the wall.

Thanks beautiful Evy!

And thanks to Chad
our camera trickster!

Welcome Home

Finally up and running is our online store! After years of amazing travels with our shop - coast to coast in Canada, through eastern and southern Australia - while spending the in-between times of the festival seasons designing and producing our lines equitably in Indonesia, Thailand, and Nepal, R & E have found a home.

That step is running an online shop, which we hope will keep us busy! That shop needs a base in which to distribute from. We thought about living overseas in Indonesia, where our extended family lives and our manufacturing goes on, but, when it comes to healthy lifestyle, expansive nature, and a strong cultural connection to the community, the Kootenays are the best place on the planet for us right now.

As you may know, all of our clothing is made from 100% GOTS certified organic cotton (Global Organic Textile Standard) that is grown in India, woven in Java, and sewn in Bali. We send our shipments by sea to reduce our carbon footprint as much as we can. All of our clothing has been designed by Empee and I, and ethically manufactured by our team in Indonesia (check out our ‘Community’ section www.rabbitandempee.com for more information). Designing is our passion, alongside wandering of course, and our interest in sustainable economies.
